Goal Status: Achieved, Ahead & Behind
By ZohaibAlongside the progress bar, every goal is also given a status, a quick read on whether you're actually on track to hit it, not just how much you've saved so far.
The three statuses
- Achieved: your current amount has reached or passed the target, regardless of how much time is left on the due date.
- Ahead: you haven't hit the target yet, but your current pace is on track or better relative to how much time you have left.
- Behind: either your due date has already passed without reaching the target, or your current pace is meaningfully short of what's needed to get there in time.
How pace is actually judged
Fyscal compares what percentage of your target you've saved against what percentage of the time between now and your due date has already passed. There's a built-in cushion of roughly 15 percentage points before something tips over from Ahead into Behind, so being a little off pace early on doesn't immediately get flagged as a problem.
What happens when a deadline passes
If your due date passes and the goal still hasn't been achieved, the card switches to a clear notice, "Goal deadline passed without being achieved", prompting you to update the due date rather than leaving a stale, unreachable goal sitting in your list indefinitely.
Using the status filter
The status dropdown on the Goals page lets you switch the whole list to show only Achieved or only Behind goals, a fast way to do a "what needs my attention" check without scanning past goals that are already fine.
Tip: A goal marked Behind isn't a failure, it's just information. It's an honest nudge to either save more toward it, or push the due date out to something realistic, whichever fits your situation better.
