Closing Your Account
By ZohaibClosing your Fyscal account is deliberately not an instant, one-click action. It's built as a two-stage process with a real safety net, so a moment's decision doesn't accidentally cost you data you didn't mean to lose.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Subscription & Billing → Danger zone → Close account. This option isn't shown on the Lifetime plan, since there's no recurring subscription to cancel, and it's also hidden during an active trial, since there's no paid subscription yet to schedule a close for.
What happens when you close it
- Your subscription is scheduled to cancel at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to everything until then.
- Once that cancellation takes effect, a 7-day grace period begins.
- If you take no action during that window, your account and all its data are permanently deleted once the grace period ends.
Changing your mind
You can reactivate your account or resubscribe at any point before the closure is final, whether that's during the remaining billing period or during the 7-day grace period afterward, with no data loss either way. Once the grace period actually ends, though, the closure is final and cannot be undone.
Before you go
While you can still sign in, export anything you might want to keep, transaction CSVs from the Transactions page, reports, invoice PDFs. Once the grace period ends, Fyscal no longer has your data at all, so there's nothing left to pull a backup from after the fact.
